Currently Kampala International School welcomes children from over 40 different nationalities, with a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. The child's class is normally determined by its birth date. We aim to provide education for children of all levels of ability. Students are admitted throughout the school year.

Admissions Policy
Kampala International School is a non-selective school which aims to educate students from the local and international communities, providing where possible for the special needs of all its students. In particular circumstances admission will be at the discretion of the school's Principal, following assessment.

Students are placed in classes according to their age with cut-off being the 31st August.

Primary School : Kampala International School accepts students on or after their 2nd birthday. Entry into Year 1 is at 5 years old (the academic year in which the child turns 6 years old).

Secondary School : Entry to the Secondary School is at 11 years old (the school year in which the student becomes 12).

Special School Fees Package for Secondary Students

Parents who pay their own fees, without receiving a full refund from their employers, are currently eligible to apply for fees of just $6,000 - 8,000 per year, depending on age and course taken, and payable in 3 equal installments. The offer is available for 11-18 year olds, entering Years 7 - 12.
